Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 AM and drive you to the National Park. Tarangir is known for its varied terrain comprising nine different vegetation zones. The park is particularly known for its abundance of ancient baobabs (the continents largest trees) that fill the landscape and dwarf the wildlife of its neighbors.
The river park is home to a wide variety of wildlife from lions to zebras to giraffes to buffaloes and of course elephants. In fact the park has the largest concentration of elephants in the entire country and offers unique opportunities to witness interactions between elephant families.
The dining area is fantastic with amazing views of the river and wildlife. We will continue with a tour before returning to your accommodation in the afternoon.
In fact the park has the largest population of elephants in the entire country and offers unique opportunities to observe relationships between elephant families.
Additional tours can be done: Night game drive inside the park
Like in Lake Manyara, plenty of accommodation options can serve this park.

Day 3: Tarangire to Lake Natron
You will leave with lunch boxes to take towards Lake Natron. Located about 3.5 hours’ drive from Mto Wa Mbu/Manyara, Lake Natron is a surreal destination and a unique natural spectacle. Its waters are very alkaline and unusually shallow, averaging only one meter deep.
After checking into your camp and a short rest, you’ll put on your walking shoes as a Maasai tribesman takes you for a walk along the shores of Lake Natron in search of birds, especially lesser flamingos.
Lake Natron is the most important and common breeding site for lesser flamingos in East Africa, hosting up to 2 million of them during the breeding season. Most egg laying and hatching occurs from September to January. After the hike, you will return to your campsite.

Day 4: Lake Natron to Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, you will head towards the Serengeti. Along adventurous slopes, the Rift Valley juts out into the wide plains of the Serengeti. Serengeti National Park is one of the largest natural migration systems for wild animals.
Each year, more than 1.4 million wildebeest, almost 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles, around 200,000 zebras and several thousand Topi migrate between the three conservation areas mentioned above. They move with the rainy season to areas with vegetation and lush meadows.
Additionally, the park is home to many other animal species, such as giraffes, buffaloes, hyenas, elephants and crocodiles. Particularly large is the population of feline predators: around 3,000 lions, 300 cheetahs and approximately 400-700 leopards have their hunting grounds here.
Along the way, you will enjoy seeing many different wild animals such as leopards, lions, buffalos, elephants, giraffes, zebras and birds.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park to ngorongoro safari
On this day we recommend you get up early in the morning (when the animals are most active) for a game drive for one of the most beautiful sunrises. After our game drive we return to the lodge/camp for a complimentary breakfast before heading to Ngorongoro Crater the eighth wonder of the natural world.
Covering 102 square miles and with 2000-foot-high walls the crater has become a virtual Noahs Ark and is home to nearly all of East Africas native wildlife. This is one of the rare places on the entire continent where you can see black rhinos.
At the same time the concentration of African wildlife is the greatest on the continent. The crater consists of a river many wetlands a soda lake forests and open fields rich inflamingos.
It is also famous for being home to the largest in the world.
This is due to the mineral richness of the volcanic soil and its grasses. The Ngorongoro Crater is truly a wonder. You will arrive in Ngorongoro at sunrise.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu
We started the day early and headed down to the crater floor for an amazing morning of wildlife in one of the most beautiful places on earth. After your game drive you will have time for a picnic lunch near the beautiful Hippo Lake. After lunch you will have time for a short game drive climb the crater and leave Ngorongoro Conservation Area for Karatu dinner and overnight.

Day 9: From Lake Eyasi to Lake Manyara
After breakfast, you will traverse the rugged road to Lake Eyasi, another refreshing lake in the Rift Valley. In the afternoon you will arrive for a cultural exchange with the Tatoga tribe (a very interesting tribe).
Our Tatoga guide in the village will lead the tour. You will explore on foot the area of dry and rugged landscape, which is still inhabited by a small group of bushmen, the Hadzabe or Watindiga.
These tribes still live in bands, hunting with bows and arrows, gathering roots, tubers and wild fruits, just as humans did to survive 10,000 years ago.
Another interesting tribe of this region is the Datoga also known as Barabaig or Mang’ati. At first, they had a lot of rivalry for grazing lands with the Maasai tribe. After the safari, you will drive to Arusha and the airport.
