How It Works

As a member of SGR (Stichting Garantiefonds Reisgelden), Tanzania Specialist contributes annually to a fund that guarantees your money is protected. This means that even in the very unlikely event of financial difficulties or bankruptcy, your advance payments are secure and your travel plans can continue uninterrupted.

What is SGR?

SGR is the Dutch Foundation for Travel Funds, established in 1983 in Rotterdam to protect travelers from losses due to travel company bankruptcies. It co-founded the European Guarantee Fund Association for Travel and Tourism (EGFATT). SGR covers package holidays, combined travel agreements, and accommodation bookings made with participating agencies. (Individual airline tickets are not covered.) Learn more at sgr.nl/english.
