Day 01 :
Arrive For Your Serengeti Safari Packages

You will be met upon your arrival at JRO Airport and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. This day marks the start of your Serengeti safari tour packages, ensuring a smooth and welcoming beginning to your adventure.

Day 02 :
Arusha to Tarangire National Park

We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 AM and drive you to the National Park. Tarangire is known for its varied terrain comprising nine different vegetation zones. The park is particularly known for its abundance of ancient baobabs (the continent's largest trees) that fill the landscape and dwarf the wildlife of its neighbors.

The river park is home to a wide variety of wildlife from lions to zebras to giraffes to buffaloes and of course elephants. In fact, the park has the largest concentration of elephants in the entire country and offers unique opportunities to witness interactions between elephant families. The dining area is fantastic, with amazing views of the river and wildlife. We will continue with a tour before returning to your accommodation in the afternoon. Additional tours can be arranged, including a night game drive inside the park.

Day 03 :
Tarangire to Lake Natron

You will leave with lunch boxes to head towards Lake Natron, located about 3.5 hours’ drive from Mto Wa Mbu/Manyara. Lake Natron is a surreal destination and a unique natural spectacle, with very alkaline and unusually shallow waters, averaging only one meter deep.

After checking into your camp and a short rest, you'll embark on a guided walk along the shores of Lake Natron with a Maasai tribesman to observe birds, especially lesser flamingos. Lake Natron is the most important breeding site for lesser flamingos in East Africa, hosting up to 2 million of them during the breeding season. Most egg laying and hatching occurs from September to January. This unique adventure is part of our Serengeti migration safari packages.

Day 04 :
Lake Natron to Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, you will head towards the Serengeti. Along adventurous slopes, the Rift Valley juts out into the wide plains of the Serengeti. Serengeti National Park is one of the largest natural migration systems for wild animals.

Each year, more than 1.4 million wildebeest, almost 300,000 Thomson's gazelles, around 200,000 zebras, and several thousand Topi migrate between the conservation areas. Additionally, the park is home to many other animal species, such as giraffes, buffaloes, hyenas, elephants, and crocodiles. Particularly large is the population of feline predators: around 3,000 lions, 300 cheetahs, and approximately 400–700 leopards have their hunting grounds here. Along the way, you will enjoy seeing many different wild animals such as leopards, lions, buffalos, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and birds. Consider exploring our Serengeti wildlife safari package for this section to maximize wildlife sightings.

Day 5 - 6 :
Complete Safari in Serengeti National Park

A full day in Serengeti National Park. We are completely flexible in your preferences, and the days will be arranged according to your wishes. Each day, your safari guide will arrange the best times for game drives and rest.

On these days, you can do a morning game drive back to camp for lunch and rest, and finish with an afternoon game drive, or opt for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. Recommended additional tour: an incredible hot air balloon flight over the Serengeti plains. This experience is included in our Serengeti safari package deals.

Day 07 :
Serengeti National Park to ngorongoro safari

On this day, we recommend an early start for a morning game drive, when the animals are most active, and experience one of the most beautiful sunrises. After the drive, return to the lodge/camp for breakfast before heading to Ngorongoro Crater, the eighth wonder of the natural world.

Covering 102 square miles with 2,000-foot-high walls, the crater has become a virtual Noah’s Ark, home to nearly all of East Africa’s native wildlife. It is one of the rare places where black rhinos can be seen. The crater consists of a river, many wetlands, a soda lake, forests, and open fields, rich in flamingos. The mineral-rich volcanic soil supports the largest elephants in the world. This adventure is included in our Serengeti wildlife safari packages.

Day 08 :
Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu

Start early for a game drive on the crater floor for a morning of wildlife viewing in one of the most beautiful places on earth. After your game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch near Hippo Lake. Then, take a short game drive as you ascend the crater and leave Ngorongoro Conservation Area for Karatu. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 09 :
From Lake Eyasi to Lake Manyara

After breakfast, traverse the rugged road to Lake Eyasi for a cultural exchange with the Tatoga tribe. Guided by a local Tatoga guide, explore on foot the dry and rugged area inhabited by small groups of bushmen, the Hadzabe or Watindiga, who still live traditionally, hunting with bows and arrows and gathering roots, tubers, and wild fruits. Another interesting tribe of this region is the Datoga, also known as Barabaig or Mang’ati. After the safari, drive to Arusha and the airport to conclude your tour. This cultural experience is part of the Serengeti safari tour packages.
