We'll collect you from your hotel at 8 am for a visit to a particularly extraordinary national park, Tarangire, celebrated for its diverse landscape comprising nine distinct vegetation zones.

This park is renowned for its profusion of Ancient Baobab trees, the largest on the continent, which dominate the landscape, casting shadows over the nearby animals. The park's river teems with diverse wildlife, encompassing a wide array of bird species, alongside lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and notably, elephants. Tarangire boasts the country's highest concentration of elephants, presenting exclusive opportunities to witness interactions within elephant families.

The lunch area holds fascination, featuring an observatory that provides stunning views of the river and wildlife, with promising chances of observing hunting scenes while enjoying your picnic. Later in the afternoon, we'll embark on another game drive before heading to your accommodation.

Moreover, it's noteworthy that the park houses the largest concentration of elephants in the entire country, offering unparalleled glimpses into the dynamics of elephant family interactions.

Additionally, an optional extra tour available is a night game drive within the park.

Following an early breakfast, the journey commences towards the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. While the drive itself is lengthy, it offers breathtaking vistas. You'll traverse the crater highlands, making a brief stop at the rim to behold an awe-inspiring view of the Ngorongoro Crater—an unforgettable moment, especially for first-time observers.

Continuing further into the Serengeti, you'll comprehend why its name translates to "endless plains" in the local language. The park spans 6,900 square miles (18,000 sq. km), where vast plains seemingly extend limitlessly to the horizon, challenging your senses and perception of distances.

This region hosts the Great Migration, home to two million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and various antelopes, including abundant impalas and Thomson's gazelles. It's a haven for Big Cats and larger predators like lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. Many iconic television scenes, such as renowned river crossings, have been filmed within this park. Additionally, a diverse array of smaller creatures, including foxes, mongoose, honey badgers, jackals, monkeys, baboons, rock hyrax, African hares, and over 500 bird species, call this park home.

After this lengthy yet remarkable journey, you'll arrive at the park in time for an incredible afternoon game drive.

A whole day awaits you within the Serengeti National Park, and we prioritize catering to your preferences by offering complete flexibility in planning. Your desires will dictate the schedule for the day, and your guide will engage with you daily to determine the most suitable timings, including game drives and wake-up times. For instance, you have the option to embark on a morning game drive, return to the camp for lunch and leisure, and cap the day with an afternoon game drive. Alternatively, you might opt for an entire day of game drives, complete with a picnic lunch.

Additionally, we suggest considering the magnificent balloon flight over the Serengeti plains as an extra tour.

This day, we recommend an early rise to embark on a morning game drive, offering a captivating opportunity to witness the animals' heightened activity and a stunning sunrise, making it among the most awe-inspiring experiences.

Following the game drive, we'll return to the camp for a delightful brunch before journeying onwards to Ngorongoro, recognized as the 8th wonder of the Natural World. Spanning 102 square miles with towering 2,000-foot walls, the crater resembles a Noah's ark, hosting nearly every indigenous East African wildlife species.

It's a rare region in the continent where you can observe the elusive black Rhino, boasting the highest concentration of African wildlife. Within the crater lie a river, numerous swamps, a soda lake teeming with flamingos, a lush forest, and vast plains. Ngorongoro is renowned for its magnificent elephants, known for their enormous tusks, a result of the volcanic soil's rich mineral content.

This crater's uniqueness contributes to its wonder as a Natural World marvel. Arriving in Ngorongoro in time for a scenic sundowner is planned.

As an additional recommended tour, there's an opportunity for an afternoon walking safari in the Ngorongoro highlands.

The day will commence with an early start as we descend to the crater floor for an extraordinary morning amidst wildlife in one of the planet's most breathtaking locations. Following the game drive, there will be a transfer to the unique Lake Natron, roughly a four-hour journey, accompanied by a picnic lunch. Upon arrival, there will be an exploration of the lake and its surrounding areas.

By incorporating cultural visits to local villages into our program, we aim to enhance and enrich your safari experience, while also contributing positively to the local community through tourism.

For a more authentic and off-the-beaten-path adventure, we suggest extending your trip to include a visit to Lake Eyasi. Here, you'll have the opportunity to engage with the captivating Hadzabe tribe the following morning. The Hadzabe are one of the few remaining nomadic tribes in Africa, offering a truly fascinating encounter where you'll participate in their morning routines and activities within the village.

Alternatively, upon completing the safari in Arusha, you can opt to visit a traditional Maasai Village the following day. Here, guided by a Maasai Chief, you'll gain insights into their way of life, including their customs, livelihood practices, culinary techniques, livestock care, as well as witnessing their songs and dances, including a local traditional dance performance by the village women. Both experiences provide exceptional opportunities for memorable photographs.
