Day 1: Selous Safari Adventure: Wildlife Exploration

Pickup from your hotel in the early hours and transport to Dar es Salaam Domestic Terminal for your charter flight bound for Selous Game Reserve. Upon arrival in the early morning, your hotel will pick you up, facilitating your participation in two shared game drives and lunch at the chosen property. Flying over Selous, you’ll witness the vastness of this renowned park, one of the largest in Africa.

Despite a significant portion being designated for hunting purposes, there’s still an abundance of wildlife to appreciate and observe. The Rufiji River boasts a bustling population of hippos and crocodiles, while the park’s avian diversity is truly impressive.

Typically, a standard safari day consists of two shared game drives, allowing for a morning excursion followed by a return to the camp for lunch and relaxation, concluding with an afternoon game drive.
